I cannot read enough Nolan takes this week, and I especially appreciated this one, which will keep me walking with you beyond my great Substack Reaping to come. Yes, the first half of this brilliant movie sapped too much energy on Ithaca backstory, why aren’t more people willing to say this?

However, and perhaps you fixed this since your email went out, but it’s spelled “Memento,“ not “Momento.”

Thanks for letting me fixate on this.

Also, Inception is mistaken for Insomnia. “Insomnia is a mind-blowing heist movie.” (An easy mistake to make, given three of his titles begin with “I”.)

Appreciate your take, David. I don’t mind the Ithaca sequences, aside from Holland’s acting, but I get the perspective.
