The line-up of studios is so maxed out that the domestic program for CinemaCon starts on Monday night (with Sony) instead of the normal Tuesday launch. (Monday is International Day… and is this year, except only until 12:30p.)
Things are so maxed out that Lionsgate has its full presentation loaded into what has always been the opening Tuesday breakfast event, getting its 90 minutes after an hour of exhibition’s hour of “huzzahs!” (This also means that the decades-long tradition of the late morning press event with NATO (now CU) and MPA has been pushed to 7:45 am, or around when the last drunk gambler gets cleared out of the casino and put in a cab. Welcome to Vegas!)
