THB #62: ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas 2021

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the ‘wood
The future was blurry, threatening no good;
The passwords were listed by the tv with care,
In hopes that good movies soon would be there;

The children were nestled with games in their beds;
While YouTubes of Kardashians danced in their heads;
And ma in her Tesla, and I in my Rover,
Had just settled in after cancelling fly over,
When all over town there arose such a clatter,
I checked out my phone to see what was the matter.

Into my browser it came like a flash,
Tore open the season and made joy seem rash.
The hope on the gross of the new Spider-Man,
Put shadows on movies so carefully planned,
