It is a remarkable thing.
I don’t think people really understand how truly rare it is.
Even those who live under the umbrella of a truly shameless person often think they have achieved that magical power… but they haven’t.
It is, always for worse, a superpower.
Humans are overwhelmed by true shamelessness because it is a mindset that is beyond most people’s personal comprehension. For something to be so brazen, it must be real. The more brazen, the more real. All normal logic gets short-circuited.
I always remember a friend who was a sex and love addict explaining, “The more beautiful the person, the more disgusting thing I can get them to do, the better I feel about myself.”
But this was a person trying to get past their personal sickness and to regain the ability to be truly intimate with another human being.
