THB #452: Stuff To Watch Over The Holiday

You’re likely already on vacation this week, already trying to figure out how to fill the odd hour of relaxing with some kind of filmed entertainment.

For me, the first notion is always to think about what I can go see at the movie theater. Many of us are back on our regular run of movies in theaters again, some of us are still allergic to the idea of going back. I get it. But let’s start at the movies and then get to the couch and our giant TVs.

There is a lot to get to at the movies.

Poor Things is the kind of experience you want in a theater, locked in with an idea that challenges you to see the world as Bella Baxter does.

There is the promise of a 4-hour-plus version of Napoleon coming to AppleTV+ from Ridley Scott, but the release version of the film is still in theaters and now and again, it is made available on a premium screen. This is one of those movies that is meant to be seen on as big a screen as possible. Epic battle sequences.
