It’s getting hard to find something to watch on that TV we have all gotten so used to be an overflowing cornucopia of content.
I mean, there is a lot of content out there. An unfathomable amount.
But the tap has been slowed, in some part because of the WGA & SAG/Aftra strikes causing delays of would have been released in July and August. For now, it is easier to look back than to float in the lake of new content.
I have resorted, this summer, to re-watching the entirety of The Sopranos, watching the 2nd Season of The Bear twice, and consuming a lot more films from the 80s and 90s than normal. I have also spent a lot more time in movie theaters, consuming movies on repeat, the champ being Oppenheimer at 5 screenings (and counting).
