I don’t like the Snakes on a Plane thing that so many critics are throwing at Cocaine Bear. That 2006 comedy/thriller was a magic piece of marketing prowess by New Line. I remember the giant snake that New Line brought to ComicCon that took 4 people to hold onstage in Hall H.

The snake/plane floor presentation for SOAP, which included instructions on how to deal with snakes on a plane, including kissing your ass goodbye.

The movie, which you can buy/rent on VOD but is not on the HBO Max service at this time (dumb, guys!), had a brilliant performance by Samuel L. Jackson. “I have had it with those muthafuckin’ snakes on the muthafuckin’ plane!!”
