THB #302: The Week With No Ads
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences now votes electronically… in other words, the nomination results will already be in at 6p Pacific tonight. We will be waiting another week to hear what they are. But unless they don’t know how to program the data, the answers are all but instant.
Not that long ago, accountants from Funk & Wagnall’s (a Carson joke for those over 50) literally put votes in piles to come up with the answers, round by round. Now all that can be done with a formula.
