Just a note to make note of the fact that last week’s Sundance closing story (THB #480) went out to my Free Subscribers this morning without the paywall. This is an option on Substack that I sometimes use.
But in the category of Unexpected Consequences, some of what I wrote last week is no longer true. For instance, the festival’s Audience Award winners were sold soon after I published that newsletter, adding two more sales - amongst others that would come as well - to the list.
Point is, I expect to do a follow-up on the festival in the next couple of weeks and I hope that as many people will engage that piece as did the first one, which was particularly widely read.
I have been doing this for over 30 years and I can count the claims of factual inaccuracies that I have been accused of printing (literally print era or online) on one hand.
